Is any of my data uploaded?
No. Your messages are read into a database on your own computer, and the answers are produced by the AI app already installed on that machine. There is no Verge account, no Verge server and nowhere for your history to be sent.
Which AI app does it work with?
Claude — the installer sets it up for you, and you ask your questions inside Claude the same way you'd chat with it about anything else. If you're a more technical user, it also works with other AI tools that support the same standard; most people won't need that.
Is my payment safe?
Payment is handled by Razorpay, India's largest payment gateway — we never see your card details. It's billed monthly and you can cancel any time from the link in your receipt, so you're never locked in.
Do I need a second phone or a business number?
No. It links to the WhatsApp account you already have, in the same way WhatsApp Web does — by scanning a QR code from your phone.
Is this an official WhatsApp product?
No, and we want to be straight about that. Verge is not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta and does not use Meta's official business API. It connects the way WhatsApp Web connects. That is not something Meta formally supports for third-party software, so use it on your own account and at your own discretion.
What do I need to run it?
A Windows computer, the WhatsApp account you already use, and an AI app such as Claude. Verge itself is a single file — there is nothing else to install.
Can I cancel?
Yes. It is billed monthly and you can cancel at any time. One licence covers one computer.
